UPDATE: Supervisor Express v 9.1.0.14
Hi all,
We’re happy to announce the release of Supervisor Express version 9.1.0.14. This new version sees the addition of some helpful new features and addresses some issues found in the field.
Some of the important additions are:
- Passwords can now be printed on guest tickets, making it compatible with the Supervisor Net 9.1 password system, so that the guests can log into our web applications
- Express is now compatible with the QR Code laundry activation system, where users can activate and pay for a laundry device by scanning a QR code associated with the washer or dryer
- The activation of multiple laundry devices in a single session is now supported
A complete list of changes is as follows:
[Feature #16386 Added the ability to specify different port numbers for ‘Multiple’ laundry mode
#16385 Added a laundry compatibility feature for use with activation of devices through Laundry Monitor, or scanning a QR code that ultimately activates the device via Laundry Monitor and My Monitor. When this option is enabled (Payment Method > Use My Monitor) Express will not unload a transaction when the device has been activated by QR Code, preventing the user being charged double, as they are already charged by My Monitor
[Feature] #16302 Wherever a keyboard is displayed for the entry of an email address, the @ symbol is now displayed on the main page of the keyboard
[Feature] #16285 An option has been added to let the user activate more than one laundry device during a single payment
[Feature] #16240 Compatibility has been added to allow Express to pay Spydus fees and fines, using different pricing models per Spydus ‘Charge Code’
[Feature] #16047 An option has been added to enable casual tickets to be printed with a Supervisor Net password on them, so that the user can log into web applications
[Feature] #15790, 15644 Added support for Windcave Tupelo devices, and the ability to also use them for the user’s facility card swipe
[Feature] #15768 An option has been added to the POS function to force the printing of a receipt
[Feature] #15569 The kiosk service port number is now configurable
[Feature] #15556 A new option called ‘Silent Email Replacement’ has been added to the buy ticket function. If a user enters an email address that already exists, this new option will suppress the on screen message that the email already exists, and will just proceed to move the email address to the new account
[Change] #16185 Users with zero balance can now still use the print kiosk function
[Change] #16116 The tech is now given a warning when attempting to choose the output printer for the print release or print kiosk functions if the CASH PRINTING primary account has its PIN state set to ‘Use Current’, as this will prevent the drop-down list from being populated with a list of available devices
[Change] #15774 When a user enters an email address for a new casual ticket, it is now checked to ensure it conforms to a standard email address format
[Change] #15500 EFTPOS minimum amount can now include cents as well as dollars
[Bug Fix] #16377 Print Job ID numbers starting with a zero would fail to release the print job
[Bug Fix] #15791 The Job ID for print release could not be longer than 5 digits
[Bug Fix] #15605 Altering the option ‘Print Now/ Print Later’ in the print release function was not saving the settings correctly
This is now available for our distributors to download.
