University of Queensland Print Shop
University of Queensland’s onsite print shop look to provide Monitor’s Print Management Solution to its users.
Monitor is working with the University of Queensland’s onsite print shop to deploy Monitor’s Print Management Solution. The print shop will provide students and staff with a card that can be used to pay for printing, copying, scanning and faxing on campus.
The university will operate Monitor Embedded Solution for Sharp at 40 devices across the campus. Monitor Embedded Solution for Sharp will provide the university’s users with a quick and efficient print experience as well as ensure their jobs are securely released.
Users on campus will also have the ability to submit print jobs to various sites and locations across the university via their own internet-enabled device using Monitor Web Print.
To provide users with a means to add value to their print card, the print shop will be installing an AL6000 autoloader which will allow users to insert notes and coins to add value to their accounts. Using the same machine, casual users will have the ability to buy casual tickets to pay for print and copy on site.
Another means for users to add value to their account is via My Monitor. My Monitor is a web based account management application that will allow users to use their credit card to add value to their account. They will also have the ability to view statements, set spend limits and low balance reminders.
The ‘Go Live’ Date for the University of Queensland is Semester One 2013.
