Supervisor Express 3.3.0

Supervisor Express now provides manual refunds and free casual user tickets.

Monitor have released a new version of Supervisor Express, Monitor’s value reload software application. Supervisor Express 3.3.0 has several new features. These include:

• Ability to process manual refunds. A user is able to approach a kiosk and request that their Supervisor account is refunded via a direct credit to their bank account, a cheque posted to them or donated to the facility. These refunds are ultimately processed by an administrator, as a lot of banks are no longer allowing automated refunds via the EFTPOS terminals.
• Support for the Bonus Add Value system in Supervisor Net. It will inform the user how much ‘Bonus’ they will earn based upon the amount they are entering into the kiosk during that session.
• Support for dispensing zero value casual tickets for libraries wanting to issue computer reservation tickets at a kiosk, when computer reservation is not a service they charge for.
• If Add Value is the only function enabled, the ‘Please Swipe Card’ screen will be displayed immediately. This caters for those environments that want their users to be presented with the card swipe screen as the first screen.
• Configuration options have been added to help prevent Windows putting the LAN port and USB ports to sleep after a period of inactivity.
• A QR code can now be displayed on the main screen to support device activation from a mobile application. Monitor’s mobile application is due to be released soon!
