Popup Client Console
Supervisor Net 7.2.10 is released including the Popup Client Console.
Monitor is pleased to announce the release of Supervisor Net 7.2.10. This version sees the addition of a fantastic new feature – the Popup Client Console.
Users now had added functionality when a print popup client has been activated. When the popup icon is displayed in the system tray, they can hover their mouse over the icon and their balance will be displayed. When clicking on the icon, the new Popup Client Console will be launched where the user can see all print jobs in the Monitor Print system that belong to them. They are also able to view a breakdown of their balance and delete print jobs from the system. This gives users more control over their print jobs and is another way sites can reduce their print costs through paper misuse.
Other features that have been added to Supervisor Net 7.2.10 include:
Supervisor Net
- The product installer will now automatically configure the popup configuration with the name of the Supervisor Net server, rather than just ‘Localhost’
- The loading of the popup on the workstations has been optimized to start up quicker and put less load on the server
- Additional client facing functionality has been added to the print popup client. If the user hovers over the popup system tray icon, their balance is now displayed. clicking on the icon will launch a new popup client console where the user can see all print jobs belonging to them that are in the Monitor Print system. They are able to view a break-down of their balance and delete print jobs from the system
- The ability to un-enroll fingerprints from a primary record has been added
Monitor Web Print
- Support has been added for Exchange’s insistence on using TLS even when SSL is not being used
Supervisor Print Release
- The print release station will now validate a user’s account correctly if their account does not have a suffix, but the system is set to use suffixes. This is especially useful in an environment where there’s a mixture of users with suffixed accounts and users (such as casual user tickets) without suffixed accounts
