New Laundry Sites! Oct 2020

Recently we’ve had two new Laundry sites take advantage of our MonitorBM transaction solution made specifically for these spaces.

Site one is based in Ruakaka, called Bream Bay Laundry of around 20 Speed Queen washers & dryers. They were specifically after a cash-free solution but to also work alongside their current token system as these were still out in distribution within the community. So aside from the token mechanism on the physical laundry device,  the laundromat also wanted a cash free solution so a Eftpos only kiosk was perfect solution. We fitted them with a AL8000 Kiosk which is ideal for a laundry environment with its large 21.5” touchscreen and pick proof locks for it to allow to be unmanned. Alongside the physical aspect of the MonitorBM solution we also supplied them with Insight reporting so they can track activity, their finances and accounts!

Site two is based in New Lynn, called Express Laundry where they operate 30 washers & dryers. Their machines being the new Dexter brand of machines – which our solution seamlessly integrated to. Unlike Ruakaka, these did not have a coin mech on the machine but simply all done on our AL7000 kiosk. Our kiosk provided the users the ability to pay via Eftpos, cash or coin. Our space saving AL7000 was also a perfect fit here against the middle pillar built in the room to keep cords and electronics tidy. And again, at this site we supplied them with Insight reporting tool for all their transactions.

An additional solution that a lot of our laundry sites are interested in is Laundry Webview which allows users to quickly see what laundry machines are free, how much time remaining on wash/dry cycles and what are the off-peak/on-peak hours within a space.
