Monitor Embedded Version 8.0.13 released

We’re excited to announce the new release of Monitor Embedded, our embedded software for MFDs (multi-function printers/devices).

One of the big developments is the inclusion of a native Android application for the newer Android-based Ricoh MFDs.

We’ve made a few minor adjustments to make workflow easier, including support for a new centralised automatic update system, and the option to remove prompts warning the user that they are printing all documents or deleting all documents. We’re always trying to make things run smoother for our customers.

We’re happy to announce that Konica Minolta is now certified for use with Monitor in Europe and South Africa.

If users have insufficient funds on Fuji Xerox, HP, Konica Minolta, Kyocera, Sharp and Toshiba MFDs, we’ve included a message on the main screen informing them that certain functions have been disabled.

Support has been added to charge for faxing from Fuji Xerox MFDs, as well as much smoother integration with the factory-installed plugins.

We’ve improved accuracy of charging for jobs across all brands of MFDs, taking device reboots and exhausted balances into account when charging.

We’re always tinkering to improve our products, and these are just a few of the ongoing developments.
