City of Perth moves to Monitor in May 2024.
City of Perth Library implemented a Monitor expense management system in May 2024.The solution encompasses the following components:
Desired outcome
- Delivery of a single integrated self-service platform that replaced a multiple vendor solution
- Replace manual process with a fully automated self-service platform
- Pay as you go or load funds onto your library card
Service
- Fully hosted platform with on-premise server infrastructure
- Real-time API connection to their LMS (Symphony) to authenticate patrons
- On site installation & personalised training of entire system
MFD
- Print Pay as you Go (PPAYG) – where users simply pay as required. There is no mandatory requirement for users to load funds onto their library card
- PPAYG Print Management platform delivering a self-service print payment allowing users to submit printing from their own devices via webprint, via email, via USB key or library PC
- PPAYG for photocopying via Monitor’s embedded app on the MFD
- Embedded scan to email & USB from the MFD’s
Kiosk
- 2x Monitor MK3000 touchscreen kiosks configured for cash-free operation
- Unattended EFTPOS for all payments
- Preview & Pay for printing directly with EFTPOS
- Preview & Pay for USB submitted print jobs using a USB socket secured by hardware firewall
Library Computers
- Implement Monitor MyRes computer reservation system ensuring equitable access to the computers
- Users can simply walk up to a free computer or book a computer from home
