CASESTUDY: Cardless Accounts at State Library of Victoria

The State Library of Victoria (SLV) came to the team at MonitorBM with a unique request for the ability to have online accounts only – a library without library cards. With the MonitorBM systems being so modular we were able to meet all of their requests for cashless and cardless system.

SLV were after self service payment for all photocopying, scanning & printing. With the use of our guest ticket function and online account creation, we were able to fullfill the cardless system they were after. With two MK3000 fully branded and custom wrapped kiosks, library users can pay for printing/copy/etc via Eftpos and print via USB right at the kiosk, making this a cashless system. Guest tickets can also be printed at the kiosk and scanned at one of 4 MFD printers they have onsite. Alongside our webprint system where guests and registered accounts can submit print files.
