CASE STUDY: Byron Bay Library – Stage One
MonitorBM are proud to have recently started a multi-stage project with Byron Bay Library and across their 11 branches, covering the Richmond Tweed Regional Area.
We’ve installed a number of solutions already in Byron as part of stage one of the project. Connecting into Byron Bay Libraries’ Spydus Library Management system using a native API we have supplied library users with the monitor payment platform which allows them to pay for various services within their network using simply their Library card. Solutions such as Monitor Print, Webprint, Computer Reservation, Kiosks, USB Printing, Job Id Printing and even being able to use their third-party self-checkout kiosks to pay for fees/fines. MonitorBM’s APIs with third party machines and software allows user access to their Monitor account that’s becomes a part of their pre-existing library card.
We have supplied Byron with our new MK3000 Acrylic kiosk which was wrapped in a fully custom design with the help of our internal marketing team. This kiosk allows users to top-up, pay fees and fines and printing capabilities like USB printing and Job ID printing. USB printing being simply what it states, allows users to plug a USB directly into the kiosk and pay/release there at the kiosk and Job ID being a way to email a job and pay at the kiosk to release – both great options for guest visitors to the libraries!
Another network solution we have supplied the project is circa 80 licenses for our Computer Reservation software, allowing users to book/pay and manage their computer time.
We’re excited about this full servicing relationship we have made with Byron Bay Library and surrounding area, with a number of our other solutions to be connected in the coming months.
