UPDATE: Supervisor Net 8.3.4 Suite of Products – NEW Features

Us here at MonitorBM are happy to announce the release of the Supervisor Net suite of products version 8.3.4.

This update is to primarily address various issues found in the field, but also contains a new feature for Monitor Online Ordering, allowing you to have a customised set of text (for buttons and on-screen messages, etc) per shop.

Also of note is the ability to configure Supervisor to only keep log files, (for all of the various components and applications), for a predetermined amount of time.

Supervisor Net
[Feature] #15617, #15486 Added terminal types and registration codes for new MU1 terminal for Attendance, Balance Check, Terminal, Reservation mode and Meal plan modes. Also added Express balance check registration code and terminal setup type

[Bug Fix] #15550 If a user’s expiry date was set to the year 2100 or above in an external interface, it would cause our components to fail
[Bug Fix] #15473 If multiple external interfaces were being used, Supervisor would sometimes not hunt between them correctly
[Bug Fix] #15388 The notification email template editor was not compatible with later versions of the ODBC driver

Monitor Online Ordering
[Feature] #15603 It is now possible for each shop to have its own set of language strings, so the wording that the end user sees is different from shop to shop
[Feature] #15540 Dollar amounts are now included on the detailed order reports
[Feature] #15284 The speed when searching for an order in Manage Orders has been greatly improved. An example with 1000 orders previously took 75 seconds, now returns in under 10 seconds
[Bug Fix] #15618 An error message would be displayed when an item was added to the cart if the user was able to specify a pick up time, but no default pick up time had been defined
[Bug Fix] #15608 When the option ‘Send orders immediately’ was enabled in the shop group options, orders were not being sent if the order was not for the current day
[Bug Fix] #15484 Re-arranging the order of the questions for Shop Group – Questions, would throw an error message

Web Print
[Bug Fix] #15389 If a custom size document was uploaded to Web Print, it would be blown up to a full A3 size, instead of printing it at its original dimensions on an A3 piece of paper, even when ‘Keep original size’ was selected
[Bug Fix] #15364 When the user selected ‘Print Now’ and then chose a printer, the confirmation screen was displaying the cost of the job based upon the cloud queue pricing, rather than the output printer they selected. The user was therefore charged a different rate than the rate displayed on the confirmation screen
[Bug Fix] #15295 Instances of PDFs being printed out ‘corrupted and backwards full of code’
[Bug Fix] #15293 Instances of JPEG images being printed out on Fuji Xerox devices with black lines through the images. This may also have affected other makes of device
[Bug Fix] #14968 Processing documents as ‘Ledger’ size would fail to price the job correctly

Supervisor Insight
[Change] #15439 The time selection options have been removed from the 5xxx (Monitor Online Ordering) series of reports, as they were not applicable and were causing confusion
[Bug Fix] #15515 The 2000: Primary transaction details report was being logically grouped by Primary Name, so accounts with different Primary Numbers but the same Primary Name were being displayed with incorrect values
[Bug Fix] #15489 The 3500: Cash Pickup Receipt report was not working, returning the error message ‘The real-time export database cannot be contacted’
[Bug Fix] #15447 Not all selected pricing models were being listed in the report’s filters
[Bug Fix] #15428 The 5000: Transaction Details Report did not show the correct online orders for a date range, and threw an error when choosing midday
