UPDATE: iPOS Version 8.0.16
We’re very happy to announce the release of iPOS version 8.0.16. The focus in this version has been reliability and performance, with transactions now being sent to Supervisor Net up to 7 times faster than the previous version. A complete list of changes is as follows: [Feature] #15140 iPOS can now prevent Supervisor Net from hunting for the customer’s credentials in an external interface (Such as Active Directory) by setting the global variable MBMLOOKUPUSER to a value of ‘N’. This will speed user validation up by 5 seconds or more [Feature] #15120 The name of the operator performing the sale is now stored in the PrimaryExtraInput field of the Supervisor Net transaction table [Feature] #14777 Transaction throughput to Supervisor Net has been dramatically increased by up to seven times, especially when larger numbers of items are being purchased in a single transaction [Change] #15149 In new installations, the global variable MBMSUBMITVARIANCE has been changed to a default value of Y in order to send variance amounts to Supervisor Net by default for reporting [Change] #15141 When using either the ‘Lock Terminal’ or ‘Staff Code’ button functions to change the operator for the sale, the credentials would revert back to the original operator’s details once the sale was complete. The operator’s credentials are now persisted until explicitly changed again [Bug Fix] #15226 Positive variances were being sent to Supervisor as negative amounts and visa versa. This would result in the Supervisor Insight reports displaying incorrect values [Bug Fix] #15146 The GLCode Name field for items created in iPOS would not be synchronized through to Supervisor Net, causing the GLCode Name to be blank in Supervisor Insight reports [Bug Fix] #15142 Some operator permissions were not working as expected. In particular, an operator denied access to a stock location was still able to perform transactions against that location This is available for our distributors to download now from the Filemanager site. |
