Melbourne Library Service Installation
Monitor commences installation at Melbourne Library Service to install Monitor’s library solution for charging users for print, copy and fees and fines charging.
Monitor is in the process of installing their library solution at Melbourne Library Service which includes 3 library sites – Melbourne City Library, East Melbourne Library and North Melbourne Library. The solution includes:
- Supervisor Net
- Monitor Print
- Monitor Web Print
- Supervisor Print Release
- Client Pop-up application
- My Monitor
- 3M fees and fines software on existing 3M SelfCheck Stations
- 4 Express Kiosks with barcode swipe reader
The solution allows patrons and casual users to pay for print and copy at a PC or using their internet-enabled device such as a laptop, smartphone, iPad or tablet using Monitor’s print management solution including Monitor Print, Monitor Web Print, Supervisor Print Release and the Client Pop-Up application.
Using one of the four Express Kiosks located at the 3 library’s, patrons can add value to their account with cash, coins, EFTPOS or credit card. The Kiosk’s are also being configured to use Express’s application launcher to run Monitor’s Print Release Station software to enable the secure release of print jobs.
Both the City Library and North Melbourne Library have already had Monitor’s 3M fees and fines software installed at the existing 3M SelfCheck Stations. Monitor’s fees and fines software allows patrons to pay their fees and fines at a 3M SelfCheck station using their Monitor account or a credit card.
Part of the solution is the integration to the Aurora Library Management system which will allow patrons to pay their fees and fines through My Monitor and will synchronise all details inputted into Aurora to Supervisor Net.
