Te Takere win award with Monitor solution
Horowhenua District Council win Supreme ALGIM Award.
At the recent Association of Local Government Information Management (ALGIM) Conference in Taupo New Zealand, the Horowhenua District Council submitted an entry in the ALGIM awards for the Technology Solutions delivered into Te Takere, Horowhenua’s new Cultural and Community Centre – incorporating Levin Library.
The ALGIM awards are held annually at the ALGIM Conference and recognise and celebrate Projects, innovation and Collaboration within local government information technology and information management.
Horowhenua District Council were runners up in the Collaboration Award category however the team, led by Janet Greig won the Supreme Award for their amazing solutions they have implemented in Te Takere – including Monitor’s My Reservation system, operating for their patrons, casual users and staff.
Janet’s dedication and hard work to put together the winning entry followed up by an amazing presentation ensured that there was only ever going to be one winner! Congratulations to Janet and the rest of the Horowhenua District Council team.
